This is our first month TTC and it threw me off a little, naturally!
CD12 I had a nice gush of EWCF mixed with creamy but we were having lunch with friends traveling. I took an OPK that night and it was negative so I was afraid I'd missed the surge and ovulation by the time we got home. We went ahead and BD'd CD13 in the morning and then sure enough at noon the LH surge hit but my temps were already starting to climb that morning. After sex, it's hard for me to guage what's CF or semen so yesterday I just noted the vaginal sensation.
I'm just confused as to why it seems I'm ovulating when the temps are already rising? I thought when the egg is released that's what triggers the shift to happen? Am I wrong in that?
